Your first trade

Deposit once, trade in a tap, close or let it ride, and withdraw, with Zodl or Zingo.

Deposit once

Open the terminal and tap Deposit. Pick an amount (0.01 to 1 TAZ on testnet) and the app shows a QR code with the deposit's memo already in it. Scan it with Zodl or Zingo and pay exactly that amount from shielded funds.

The deposit's id is drawn on your device and saved before the code appears, so closing the sheet loses nothing. After 2 confirmations on testnet (3 on mainnet) the mint signs your chips blind, the app checks every signature against the mint's published keys, and the chips land in your device's vault (with sound on, a short bell rings).

The code carries your deposit's id: whoever has it could claim the chips. It's built on your device, never sent anywhere, and blurs when you look away. Don't share or screenshot it.

Pick a Window and a side

A Window is a stretch of time on one asset, from its open to its close. The Line is the asset's price at the open, taken from the exchanges. Tap UP if you think it closes above the Line, DOWN if below. Each side shows what it pays at the house's live price: pays 1.8× means a 0.1 stake returns 0.18 if you're right.

The price moves with every tick. If it moves past your slippage before your order lands (2 % by default, in the order settings), the order is refused with Price moved, and nothing is spent: tap again to take the new price.

Manage it, or let it ride

While the Window trades, your position is valued live at the house's bid:

  • Close sells it back now. Reduce sells part of it.
  • On an Up or Down position, Trail arms a trailing stop and TP / SL set a take-profit and a stop-loss. These run at the mint, so they fire even with your tab closed.
  • A parlay can't be sold back: it rides to its last leg's close.
  • In the last 30 seconds a Window stops taking trades and every position rides to the close.

Settlement

About seven seconds into the minute after the Window closes, the operator reads each exchange's closing price. Two of three agreeing above the Line means UP won; two below, DOWN won; anything else refunds every position its stake. With the app open, winnings and refunds come back as fresh chips shortly after; otherwise the next time you open it.

Withdraw

Tap Withdraw, paste a fresh shielded address from your wallet's Receive screen, and pick an amount (from 0.01, in steps of 0.001). The mint splits it into standard 1, 2 and 5 notes and sends each at its own random time within about half an hour, so the payments can't be matched to your trades.

Every step above goes through Kakure's Oblivious HTTP relay: it sees your IP but not what you sent, and the operator sees what you sent but not your IP. See the privacy model.
